1. Preparation:

1.1. Set your oven broiler to preheat on medium-high heat.

Note:
Optionally. you can use your grill instead of the broiler.

Season chops with salt, pepper and garlic powder just before cooking.

2. Pan fry the chops:

2.1.

Preheat fry pan on medium-high heat with olive oil until hot.

2.2.

Pan fry chops on both sides until golden and cooked through (about 4-5 minutes each side). *

2.3.

Transfer to a plate and set aside for later step.

3. Sauce:

3.1.

Return pan on heat and reduce it to medium.

3.2. Add:

1 TBSP of unsalted butter

And let if fully melt with constant stirring while scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.

3.3. Add:

6 cloves of garlic – minced

Sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).

3.4. Add:

¼ cup of honey
¼ cup of water
2 TBSP of rice wine vinegar

Increase heat to medium-high and continue to cook until the sauce reduces down and thickens slightly (about 3-4 minutes), while stirring occasionally.

4. Assemble:

Add pork back into the pan and baste generously with the sauce.

4.2. Place in the oven under the broiler until edges are slightly charred (usually about 1 – 2 minutes).

Note:
This can be also perform on the grill.

5. Garnish & serve:

5.1.

Optionally garnish with parsley.

5.2.

Serve over vegetables, rice, pasta or with a salad.
