Ingredients:
Furikake Mix
- 5 sheets of nori
- 2 TBSP of tamari sauce
- ½ TBSP of Mirin (rice wine)
- ½ TBSP of granulated sugar
- 1 TBSP of flaky sea salt
- 1½ TBSP of aonori - optional
- 2 TBSP of white sesame seeds - toasted
- 2 TBSP of black sesame seeds - toasted
Directions:
1. Season the seaweed:
Place nori sheets on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. It’s ok if they overlap a little. Stir together the tamari, mirin and sugar. Brush mixture evenly over the top of the of the nori. No need to flip. Allow this to sit for at least 20 minutes.
3. Prepare the blend:
Place the roasted nori, flaky sea salt, aonori if using, white sesame seeds, and black sesame seeds in a food processor. Blitz a few times until the nori is broken down into very small pieces.
Store at room temperature in a tightly closed container.
