Ingredients:

For The Steak Bites:

For the butter sauce

  • 2 TBSP of butter (adjust if needed)
  • 6 cloves of garlic - peeled and sliced
  • 1 TBSP of fresh parsley - finely chopped
  • ½ TSP of chili flakes (adjust if needed, adjust to taste)
  • Optionally: 1 lemon - juiced (use juice only) (adjust if needed)

1. Season the Steak:

Let’s start preparing the Burnt Garlic Steak Bites by seasoning the steak.

  • Season steak with salt and pepper.

2. Sear the Steak Bites:

  • Sear steak in a hot pan with oil until golden and cooked to your liking.
  • Set aside.

3. Make the Burnt Garlic Butter:

  • In the same pan, melt butter, then add garlic and cook until golden and crisp.

4. Finish the Sauce:

  • Turn off heat, stir in parsley and chili flakes (and lemon juice if using).

  • Plate: Mashed potatoes > steak bites > spoon garlic-chili butter over the top.
  • Finish with a little fresh parsley.
