CookingHub Foundation

CookingHub Foundation is the operator of www.cookinghub.com (which currently just includes basic user functionality and non-monetizable activities). The CookingHub Foundation is currently in the approval process for the status of 501c3. After the approval, the charitable mission will start, and proceeds will go to fighting hunger. At that point, the CookingHub Foundation will fully operate CookingHub. Proceeds for the cause will be partially generated from the operation of the one-of-a-kind recipe, education, and social platform for home and professional cooks called CookingHub. This is a major differentiator from other non-profits with similar missions because they often don’t have self-sufficient revenue-generated platforms (or operations) and heavily depend on donations.

Proceeds and Donations

Donations from users will always be an important part of the revenue, but we understand that not everyone can donate. And we also understand that continuously asking for donations can drive users away from great content. So, for this reason, asking for donations will be  limited, and instead of that, the focus will be given to the quality and functionality of the platform. Equally important to any donation is word of mouth to let everyone know that CookingHub is not only a great recipe platform but also a platform trying to make the world a better place. Even though it is a mission-driven platform, CookingHub will attract users regardless of their willingness to be involved in our charitable purpose, and just their presence and participation will generate proceeds that will go directly to supporting CookingHub’s mission of fighting hunger (including proceeds from advertising, cooking class admissions, online store products, and more).

CookingHub for Everyone!

CookingHub is going to bring premiere content and cooking information to all. This is especially impactful in that it will share information and unify people worldwide. The purpose is not to emphasize social and economic differences but to share a love of food, which is a global and unifying experience. No matter the region, race, ethnicity, or social and economic background, all users will find content and recipes that fit their budget, accessible ingredients, and lifestyle. The point is to share a love for food in all forms the best way each one of us can while trying to make the world a better place.

Who Will Benefit from Our Operation

CookingHub will divide all proceeds into an already established non-profit organization with a mission to fight hunger worldwide. Currently, we are in the process of selecting non-profits that will be receivers of our support:

Our eventual goal is to establish our own infrastructure for delivering help to those who need it most.
