Let me introduce myself
I spent a few years as a BBQ competition competitor with the Kansas City BBQ Society, where we competed for a couple of years all over the United States. From there, I went to Kirkwood Community College and got my Associate Degree in Culinary Arts, and I also worked at the school as a Banquet chef. I had wanted to open my own BBQ restaurant, so I worked as a manager in the kitchen of Jimmy Jacks BBQ restaurant in Iowa City; and was promoted to be one of the PIT Masters.
I currently live in Indiana and still love to cook and learn the cooking craft. My wife Dianne stands beside me in my endeavors. My son and daughter-in-law and both grandkids are my life; and maybe someday they can follow in my footsteps.
